Recipe
- Ratio: We use a proportion of 1:16, that is, for every gram of coffee we add 16 grams of water. For this recipe, we will use 320g of water, which is equivalent to 20g of coffee.
- Heat the water: Heat the filtered water until it reaches a temperature of 92-96°C.
- Grind the coffee: Grind 20g of coffee to a medium point.
- Prepare the filter: Place the paper filter in the V60 and rinse it with hot water to remove any paper taste and warm the container.
- Add the coffee: Place the 20g of ground coffee in the filter, making sure to level the coffee.
- First Pour (Bloom): Pour 40g of hot water (twice the weight of the coffee) over the ground coffee, making sure to wet everything, and let sit for 30-45 seconds to allow the coffee to "bloom" and off-gas.
- Main pour: After bloom, pour the rest of the water in small, constant circles, maintaining a uniform flow. Add the water in increments, avoiding pouring directly over the edges of the filter. Total pour time should be approximately 2:30-3:00 minutes.
- Wait and serve: Let the coffee finish filtering and remove it from the V60.
- Enjoy: Pour coffee into your favorite mug and enjoy delicious coffee brewed in your V60.
