What do we need?

Recipe

  1. Ratio: The recommended proportion is 1:10, that is, for every gram of coffee we add 10 grams of water. For this recipe, we will use approximately 200g of water, which is equivalent to 20g of coffee.
  2. Heat the water: Heat the filtered water until it is close to boiling (but not boiling).
  3. Grind the coffee: Grind 20g of coffee to a medium-fine point, similar to granulated sugar.
  4. Prepare the Moka coffee maker:
    • Base: Fill the base of the Moka pot with hot water to just below the safety valve.
    • Filter basket: Fill the filter basket with ground coffee, leveling it without compacting it.
  5. Assemble the coffee maker: Insert the filter basket into the base of the coffee maker and assemble the top, making sure it is securely closed.
  6. Heat the coffee pot: Place the Moka pot on the stove over medium-low heat. Leave the lid open to observe the process.
  7. Wait: Coffee will begin to come out through the center tube and fill the top of the coffee maker. When you hear bubbling and the coffee flow becomes slower and frothy, remove the coffee maker from the heat.
  8. Serve and enjoy: Pour the coffee into your favorite cup and enjoy a delicious coffee prepared in your Moka pot.
